Hi! My name is Destini Moore, and I am a Counseling Intern here at Neutral Ground Counseling Group®. I am a student currently pursuing my degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (M.A./ED.S.). My pronouns are she/her/hers. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, collecting vinyl records, and traveling.

As a counselor, I am dedicated to creating a safe, affirming, and judgment-free space where clients can be themselves. I typically draw from both constructivist and person-centered approaches, as we work together to make sense of their experiences, uncover their strengths, and explore new possibilities. I believe that the therapeutic process should be a collaborative one. I strive to walk alongside my clients as they safely explore, grow, and create meaningful change in their lives.

As a person of color, I understand the importance of being seen and understood, encompassing your whole identity. I am passionate about providing support and creating an environment that acknowledges and validates the unique experiences that come with navigating intersecting identities. I’m committed to making therapy a place where all identities and backgrounds are welcomed and celebrated. As an active ally to the LGBTQ+ community, I work to ensure every client feels respected and free to be their authentic self.
